Sold Z-218TD

The time has come....

After multiple trips with the toy hauler we have decided the time was right to upgrade. Kids have moved on to other things vs camping and riding with us and the small living space inside the unit for 3 adults and now 3 puppers we knew we needed bigger. We still had a lien on it when we sold to a private party and the bank we dealt with made things super easy for both parties to transfer the lien. Overall the cost of ownership over 6 years only cost us roughly $2500 so it was easy to let go. Bought for $21K and sold for $19K. We kept it in like new shape, added solar and a bunch of other goodies and got the full price we were asking, no haggles.

Picking up a 2019 Grand Designs Imagine 2800BH today. No comparison of the quality between the units, and we got it within our budget of $30K. All monies received over the lien owed is the down payment, so it keeps all payments roughly the same as what we were already paying. I plan on still being active to this site as there are so many knowledgeable friendly folks in here I have had the pleasure of receiving valuable info and I know I will have question on this one as well once received.

This being a hard sided unit I do have my first question. I assume this needs waxed. Do you wax over everything including graphics? After being waxed once a year then maintain with just a good wash/wax?

Congratulations on the sale, and the new to you Grand Design!
From what I have seen, and heard about them I think you should be what they classify as a "happy camper".

Welcome to the world of Grand Design owners who were previously Crossroads owners here in Colorado...probably a small group. Was very happy with our Crossroads product and am ecstatic with our Grand design Reflection. Congrats!

I also switched from a Zinger to a Grand Design and the quality difference was a prime reason for buying the Reflection 315RLTS. From what I gather from the manual, yeah, polishing the entire thing is recommended.
