Help Needed with Dripping Faucets

Here's what my bathroom faucet assembly looks like from the top and bottom after I removed the handles and screws. It won't do anything else.

How do I stop this thing from leaking? Other websites suggest replacing the entire unit. Yes, or no?

Thanks.
