2nd Water pump switch

I’m getting ready to install a second water pump switch in my wet bay. I’m thinking this should be wired in parallel to the existing on inside the trailer. Is That correct? This new one would be very close to the pump. Any special considerations I need to take into account?

Why would you need a second switch? The water pump is on-demand, so regardless of where you turn it on, it works the same.

I’m installing a nautilus water system that has valving configurations for winterizing, sanitizing and tank fill (via the pump). This system also comes with an additional switch to turn your water pump on from the wet bay. So I’d like to add it.

Ahh.. you would run it parallel to the other switch.
Sounds like a nice setup.

Thanks. Yea I’m looking forward to the install. Here are some photos of the unit.

If you don't mind me asking. What system are you replacing?
I have all the components for a nautilus system (bought from a friend). But haven't jumped on it yet as I had just previously repaired the Kantleak water setup.

I replaced the system that came with the Crossroads sunset trails 212RB (the type with the water control station and battery disconnect switch set into the cargo bay) with the nautilus P2.5. It was the best upgrade I made and was fantastic when it was completed. But we’ve since sold that trailer and upgraded to a bigger unit. Glad to see you switched all the flex hose to pex and brass fittings. Smart move and clean work.
