I also bought my LED bulbs on Amazon. They came straight from China, and all worked. I also had a difficult time with the installing, but used electrical grease which seemed to help. I also purchased 1076 LED replacement bulbs on Amazon for my dining area fixtures, and they worked too. These bulbs arrived faster, and are even brighter.

The only issue I have is that you can catch them at some angles where they seem ultra bright. It bugs my wife but it's something we can live with.

I've now swapped every bulb inside an outside of the trailer for LED. The only ones I swapped back to the old style were the rear brake lights which were great during the day but way too dim during the day. If anyone wants before and afters I can take some.

Bright warm will be a more yellow light compared to a more white bright cool light. We changed everything over to the whiter light.

Anyway, although I didn't take a before pic, here's a kinda blurry pic of the new LED's installed in the middle row of the trailer. These are all rated at 1w consumption. It's hard to tell how bright they are when there is outside light flooding the room, but I think you will get the idea.

Nice thing was that I got my shipment from China in about 10 business days instead of the 3-4 weeks they estimated. Now, let's see how long they last.
An update to my previous post. After camping all weekend with the new LED's installed I have to say I'm pretty impressed. I think they are just as bright and a little more of a white light than the original bulbs (but not Cool blue white). No complaints here.

I'm waiting for mine to arrive. Amazon says July 24, but I'm hoping they come sooner like Gary's.

I found a good led website that showed the differences between them. I definitely prefer the warm or the "white" over the cool.

So,

I bought 30 lights for $56 from AliExpress. Said they'd take a month and they actually showed up Monday, so more like 2 weeks.

I bought the warm version and I gotta say, they're great. Seem a bit dimmer than the incandescent lights, but actually, its the fact the lights are on a plate and point down, so no light is directed horizontally, but they're just as bright.

For a around $1.88, you can't beat them. We will test on a few long weekend trips. They do generate some heat, but nothing like the original bulbs.

Kudos to mickeyndallas

I assume theyr'e decent quality, seem just like the Amazon bulbs, just eliminating the middle man or men in the process..

I'll post any new developments. If my trailer burns to the ground this weekend everyone hassle me about being too cheap.

We just changed all 29 bulbs to the Amazon LEDs and are also very pleased. Especially the lack of heat compared to the originals!

the wire on the led is a little bet heavier this is wy the are hard to get pushed in
i use a flat nose pliers and squeezed the end together so the wire makes a little in print on the plastic also this way the wire is real tight to the plastic and this way the are easy to install
hope this helps

I also use M4's including a festoon in my fridge. In the LED world you definitely get what you pay for and these are amazing!

Being in Canada it costs a few extra dollars to get them here but I've ended up doing multiple 10+ SKU orders with other RVing friends to get the discount + the RV Geeks discount code.

I'm waiting to take delivery of my 240BH this Wednesday. When I dropped my Jayco trade in off I said to the salesman "There's no lightbulbs in it". He looked puzzled as I had a box of LED bulbs sitting on my passengers seat.

The only lights we need to replace yet are the four nightlights we have throughout the unit. M4 has them also, I just need to put the order in. I replaced the living room, kitchen and bathroom lights with the Natural White color Elites, as well as the pendants and sconces. I replaced the Warm White color Elites in the hallway and bedroom. These are definitely the best I've found for the money!

Question?

I was considering the amazon lights but then I saw this post on Amazon. Has anyone had any issues that used these?

So, these light instal fantastic in our RV. They are bright, warm light, and nearly indistinguishable from the standard 'battery sucking' lights that are always installed initially in RVs. I've placed other LEDs lights in previously owned trailers, and when we acquired our 'new-to-us' 21' hybrid, I wanted to enjoy the same boondocking (dry camping) battery longevity as before. So I ordered these up, they arrived quickly, and installed them and they looked and worked fantastic.

I was performing some modifications and packing the trailer last night, and had the exterior light (with these new LED bulbs) on... And I mistakingly left it on when I packed up for the evening, and went in for the evening. When I came down the next morning to walk the kids to school (about 10 hours later), I noticed that I had left it on. When I went to the trailer to turn off the light, I caught a smell of hot/burning electronics. So I turned off the light, and then felt the lens covering it - very hot... But would be even if I had left it on with a standard bulb. I took off the lens to inspect the bulb and a cloud of smoke greeted me. The bulb was charred and extremely hot. After a minute or so of letting it cool, I removed the bulb and inspected the back (circuit) side of the bulb, and found it also to be charred and melted. I am including photos of these bulbs in 'customer photos' on this item. I feel if these were to be left on accidentally for a period of time, they would likely catch fire, or darn well close to it. This was an exterior bulb on a cool night, what might the interior bulbs do if left on? These things do get hot enough to burn you within about 90 seconds or so I began to notice. The other bulbs I've purchased in the past (albeit they were a 'cool white') did not get this hot. Warm, but not hot. This is a concern for me, I'll likely be returning them to find a safer alternative for my family with three young boys... Yeah, they like to leave lights on...

Thanks

I've had em on for hours at a time and have not experienced this. I have one failing on me already but I expected at least one for the price. 1 of 28 isn't too bad I guess.

I bought mine on Amazon and all are still working after one year. I had to buy to different type of bulbs. One kind for the wall fixtures and a different kind for the ceiling lights. I also bought a small tube of electrical grease to make them slide in easier.

I have a set of the GRV T10 921 194 24-5050 and their still going strong after a year. I like the 5050's, they're a little brighter but nevertheless the GRV lights are a good deal. For reference, the manufacturer states the GRV T10 921 194 24-3528's are 95~120 Lumens. The GRV T10 921 194 24-5050 are 320-350 Lumens.
