Thermostat

Has anyone changed out their thermostat?
The Coleman Mach in my camper is ancient. I prefer the digital and one that has a screen that shows the set temp and the present temp.

Any suggestions??

I have not personally but on the KZ site I follow, guys have done it and it’s a wire for wire switch. This is the type one of the members used. Another also installed a Honeywell thermostat for your home that works if you don’t have the 2 speed fan.

That's the thermostat that was in my Sunset Trail. I haven't replaced the thermostat in my Rockwood, but it came with an RVP thermostat. RVP is a division of Airxcel. This thermostat controls the A/C in the living area, the heat pump in the bedroom and the gas furnace. It looks like this.

Yes. I have the same unit and swapped mine out with the Coleman airexcel 94303383. This thermostat ROCKS! And it’s super simple to install.

Depending on the options you want. Look into microair thermostats. It will change from heat to A/C and can be run remotely if you have pets in RV.
I installed one this year and seems to be the answer for me.

If you order a micro air. Make sure you order from them directly. certain model a/c units require specific models of thermostat. make sure you at least use their selector to find out what model you need.
