chairs

I have a 305sk and the 2 leather recliners that came with the unit are a little uncomfortable for a 6 foot 225 lb guy. does anyone know of a recliner or theater seating arangement that will go thru the door and still let the slides close?

You probably would end up with the same thing CR uses.

Since I stay in mine months at a time I might bite the bullet and buy one. But im sure I have seen a Thread on here about chairs before. I have seen theater seating in other brands. Rv show coming up in three weeks . Maybe I will take a tape measure and do a little investigation.

I didn't say start at the bottom, the under $100 specials. More like midrange.

I'm not going to spend over $1k for furniture I use once a month, maybe.

Laz-E-Boy's furniture have backs that come off making them easy to get into an RV. We had three new pieces delivered to our former Cruiser a few months before we sold it.

Why not? You spent $40,000? for the RV that you use once a month. Plus how many thousand for a truck to haul it.
I think concreteman has the right idea.

Artgo also pointed out a good product that other people are using.

With my previous trailer I was limited to 29" wide and I wore out Lazyboys website trying to meet that. They make thousands and no way to sort by width that I could find. This one can go up to 32" (IIRC) so I have more options.

Loyd when I go camping I try not to spend any time in the trailer.

I use my camper for camping when I work within driving distance from home. But I also live in it when working away from home. The reason I bought a camper was the fact that I hate hotels. I wanted a home away from home. I dont think anyone wants to pay the prices we pay for anything. I found a store close to home that sells the chairs that AZCAMPER posted. Im going to check them out. I also found out today before I went on the forum about the lazy boys. I think what Lloyd said is right, what we do is a life style we choose , not an investment.

I have a "small" lazy boy rocker recliner in the spare bedroom that would fit in a camper. I know they make them. Don't know what it cost new. It was given to me years ago.

What model LazyBoy chair(s) did you get? Do you have 2 in the rear of the 305SK? Do slides close easily without rubbing on the chair arm?

Im not sure of the model. When I park I move the couch to the rear and move the chairs where the couch was. I have only purchased one chair so far. And I havent closed the slide yet. I will let you know how things fit.

If you could check the back of the recliner, it should have a model number on it. We love our La-Z-Boy furniture as they are well made. We want to replace our sofa that is so uncomfortable with 2 recliners. Any infor. you can provide would be so helpful.

Here is a past post from SleepyT

Quote:
We bought the La-Z-Boy sleeper sofa: " Diana Supreme Comfort Full Sleeper " Style number 500. It is 5" longer than the one that came with our camper. So be carefull if you have the dinnette.
The recliners we bought are: "Harbor Town Reclina-Way Recliner " Style number 532. Be carefull if you go on the La-Z-Boy web site. There are 3 versions of this same recliner. We bought this style because the frame is steel not wood, and it can be sat closer to the wall when in the recline position.
I've seen these in Tommy's 5th wheel and the recliner and sofa are really nice. The recliners are narrow enough that the slides do not rub or hit them when they are slide in for travel.

You are truely a computer BULLDOG. How long did it take you to find that old thread??? I posted that La-Z-Boy information several times and on several different posts in the past year.
My wife and I LOVE our La-Z-Boy furniture.

Lazyboy also has a lifetime warranty on parts, 1 yr on labor. Just had a roller bearing break on mine. Went in yesterday and they ordered me new ones for both sides. No questions asked.

We have La-Z-Boy in our house and love it. We are looking for recliners for the trailer as the sofa has to go.
