The sliding closet door latch, which is plastic, is broken & will not hold the door closed. I've seen something on this forum about replacing them with something more durable, but I don't remember what. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Yep broke my first one after about a week. Got more and keep one in stock now. It's a matter of remembering how it works and I keep forgetting and breaking them. Slow learner I guess.

I make replacement latches that are magnetic, fold flat when not in use and will never fail. I usually make up about a dozen sets at a time. I don't have any left over right now and not sure when I will be making more.
The doweling is only used for travel and will prevent damage to the door if you forget to close a door or a clip breaks,by all means get new clips but don'y trust them 100%.
