Just ordered a 2014 Cruiser 37BH!

We are very excited as we pick up our new cruiser on Wednesday! We traded in a Keystone Bullet 386QBS that we only had for a year and a half. We traded it in because everything from the faucet, to the awning, the gas water heater, the dump pulls....every time we turned around something would break. It was so frustrating.

I'm a little nervous about campers in general now. I'm praying this will not happen with our new RV. A few questions for you. With our new cruiser 37BH, is there anything that we need to beware of? Any repeat issues? Also, we are looking at getting the extended warranty on this. Wanted to know your thoughts on who the best 5th warranty company was.

Thank you for your help!!

We had an XtraRide extended warranty on our former Cruiser. The price back in 2010 from wholesalewarranties.com was very low and the coverage for seven year very good. We used it a few times during our third year of ownership when we were workcamping for eight months. Somehow there was a mix up and we wound up with EIGHT years of basically hitch to bumper coverage! When we sold the Cruiser in late 2012 the new owners paid the transfer fee to have the same coverage through 2017. Wholesalewarranties.com no longer sells XtraRide. Be very aware of the warranty company's financial stability. We were burned by a third party warranty company going bankrupt and leaving us and thousands of others holding worthless policies.

With our current MH we bought the Good Sam ESP. It runs five years and has strong coverage.

While not a big proponent of extended warranties I feel buying one for an RV is a good investment. The only alternative is to set aside a fund for repairs which, unfortunately, will happen at some point.

No, it was Warranty Gold about 12 years ago. XtraRide is still going strong.

Hope you have better luck than I have. Crossroads has gotten extremely frustrating to deal with.

Extended warranties are not thru Crossroads. They are purchased from an independent company.
There are many posts on this forum of people who have had a lot of success dealing with Crossroads on their warranty issues. More so than in the previous years.

Welcome and congratulations on the new cruiser. We bought our extended warranty through Good SAMs ESP.

I took our 2014 37BH in this spring for some warranty repairs and everything went fine. We purchased the XtraRide extended warranty.
