Hello,

Is it too late to come to this rally? Been reading the posts and seems like a bunch of great people.
My wife and I recently purchased a Sunset Trails 32RL. I called the camp ground and the closest we could get was accross the street in Site 29.

Scott, did you get site 29? Don't forget to get on the food list....and be prepared to gorge on food. This rally is about the food and the company .

I have decided that since I am "defacto" retired for the time being, I will probably stay until Monday.

I'm frying a turkey - so does not take long. Let's do the breweries and wineries!

BTW - we will also be close to the location for the TV show "The Waltons". Great little museum right there, near Rockfish.

All of the meals are pot-luck, so just bring whatever you want. We never go hungry at these.

Sounds good for Friday. Sat has a breakfast potluck and a dinner potluck. We all just usually post what we are bringing to the gatherings on here. Some but not all of the guys gather to smoke meats on sat. As Rick said, we do not go hungry. There is always tons of yummy food!

I'm doing a fried turkey for Saturday. I'll probably do beef for breakfast on Saturday also, I may do a pork shoulder for the wine and cheese on Friday, or maybe just Lancaster County sweet balogna. Since I will have the fryer fired up, maybe some french fries at some point. Or wings...

Oh, it's a weight watchers rally. We make sure everyone who attends is well aware of the max weight their truck or other tow vehicle can handle!

Al,

put the first weekend in May 2014 on your calendar and meet us at the Northeast crossroads rally in PA.

[see the "2014 Norheast Crossroads rally" thread.] It is, for the most part the same group
