Light stays on

On my camper I have 2 lights, one on each side in the front down low. The left light stays on when plugged into regular power. Why is this?

Maybe there is another switch that controls both lights, and each light also has it's own switch that will control them individually when the main switch is in the on position.

I have what they call "scare" lights. One on each side up high. There is a main switch for them. When I turn the main switch on, then I can turn either side on, or both at the same time.

Do you have a storage area on that side. If so check inside to see if you have a switch somewhere.

There are two switches in the front storage compartment, on the front wall, on the driver's side. One controls the light strip on the front cap, the other controls the lights you are referring to, the hookup convenience lights. It sounds like one is not working.
