solar power trickle charger

Hi has any one ever used one of the small solar trickle chargers to maintain battery while in storage, how did it work?

I have a built in charger that I can plug in, if that is the only thing I want plugged in , i.e. do whole camper. Down side is have to have electric.

I would like to maintain keep battery charged, so I don't have to pull battery out while trailer sits.
