We did three months each winter in our first Cruiser, then traded for the Patriot version. Have done two three month stays in the new one. Definitely buy the patriot version if it is offered in the floorplan you like. I don't think you can go wrong buying a Cruiser.

To All who replied, thank you. We are getting ready to make a purchase 30ptret, I might have the wrong one listed but , don't have brochure in frt. of me. Anyway it has three slides, with kitchen in frnt. of you when entering coach. We will be towing it with 2011 F-250 4x2 and the new 6.2 gas, we had a 5.4 gas for our last 4x4 06 F-250. Hope to hit road in late April toward Tenn. area, who knows where, from there?

Let me know how the 6.2 handles the 5'er. Thinking about trading for one. Did you get the 3.73 or the 4.30 gears?

We have been trying to make the same decision about the Cruiser. Just wondering about the enough space when the grandchildren visit during the summer.

Looks good, we took our 5th sob in for NYState for yearly inspection and got 12.8 towing, Plenty of power, it is rated to tow 12500 wt. our unit weighs obout 9800 fully packed, without water onboard. I think mpg. is better, than our 06, w/ 5.4 4x4 3:73 we got 9.5 mpg sometimes. JIM

Hi, We are in Tenn. now we average 10.5 plus towing through the mountains, the 6 sp was great. Would down shift at just the right time, you can put it in manual M on column and go thru gears if you like. Plenty of power, mpg was better than our 06 5.4 we could'nt 8.9 mpg before. We like the truck vary much. JIMAR
