On my awning the screws broke off replaced them with higher quality screws. Where the screws broke off in the trailer I drilled close to the old screw with a pilot drill and put in a new screw.

My 2018 is wired to the running lamps from the factory suggest rerouting your wiring. Running with your headlines on is a better idea anyway so your camera works. Having the camera is great.

Bike carrier

Consider an Arvika rv bike carrier. Mounts the bikes on the aframe above the propane tanks. Will fit up to 4 bikes have used one for 6 years works well.
