AC unit will not start

We moved our trailer to a site for the remainder if the season. We turned our AC unit off last Saturday, everything was working fine, back out today and it will not start? Checked the breaker, looks ok. Control panel has power? Any suggestions?
Is there a reset on the actual AC unit mounted on the roof?

1st, the control panel is 12V, AC needs 110V
A few things to check
Are you plugged in to shore power? If yes, does the microwave work?

Change the blower to "On" instead of "Auto" to see if you have power to the unit.
If still nothing, cycle AC circuit breaker. If still nothing, it may be time to pull the cover on the AC unit to verify everything is still connected and a critter hasn't chewrd through the wires. Suggest you turn the breaker off while doing this.

I do not know how it is for wasps and or mud daubers there but may want to pull the cover and check for a nest. Had trouble with them one year and the nest stopped the ac from running.

Check everything else also - Thermostat - some have a fuse in them, breaker panel for tripped breakers. Turn them off then back on. Also check the 12 volt fuses one may run the thermostat.

Good luck and let us know what you find.

AC

How old is your ac unit. While the cover is off check a small round cylinder, its aluminum. The Capistor my be bad. If your ac unit hums but doesnt start it could be the problem. Also my be puffy at the top where the wires are connected

Be very cautious with the start capacitor, they store energy & could cause you a jolt if you make contact with a couple of the connectors.
I agree that's likely the the issue.
